Cookie means “small cake”, however cookie recipes are very different from cake and there a lot of varieties. Because cookies are individually formed and shaped, much time and labour goes into the production. Learning the correct methods and then practicing them is essential for perfection.
This course lists and describes cookie characteristics and discusses preparation fundamentals and basic decorating techniques. After completing the course, students will learn how to bake bar cookies, drop cookies, fried cookies, moulded cookies, no-bake cookies, refrigerator or “icebox” cookies, rolled cookies, and sandwich cookies.

This approach is teacher-centered—when students are enrolled, there will be an instructor available virtually to guide them in your scheduled classes. It will include both self-learning and teacher-led classes. The schedule will be available with 5 hours of direct interaction classes taught by qualified instructors. This course is beneficial if you want to assess your performance and gain practical knowledge directly from an instructor.
Online classes are taught via a student-centered approach. The performance will be assessed based on class participation, completing all the modules online, and performing activities outlined in the syllabi.
